Nationally, ProStart® is administered by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF). In South Dakota, the program is coordinated by the South Dakota Retailers Association (SDRA), in cooperation with the South Dakota Department of Education and the South Dakota ProStart® Committee. South Dakota's ProStart® has been in place since 2007, when the South Dakota Retailers Association agreed to establish and coordinate the program.

Join us as teams of students from across South Dakota put their culinary and hospitality management skills to the test at the Annual South Dakota ProStart Invitational at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Pierre, SD on Tuesday, March 12. Open to the public.
