Founded in 1991, the South Dakota Retailers Association Education Foundation (SDRAEF) addresses challenges for businesses and creates opportunities for those interested in pursuing careers in the retail or hospitality industry. At SDRAEF, we know the sky's the limit for our industry's future workforce.
SDRAEF offers ProStart culinary arts and restaurant management programs in nearly 25 high schools across South Dakota, sparking an interest in hospitality industry careers since 2007. Donations or sponsorships help to support our students, educators and schools.
We don't stop there. Since 1992, we've awarded nearly $238,000 in scholarships to 275 students pursuing post-secondary education for careers in retail and hospitality.
