About the host: The last thing Debra Jensen of Black Hills Bagels thought she would be doing at 45 years old was changing careers from Broadcasting to Bagels! In 2002, Debra and her husband Jack Jensen Purchased Black Hills Bagels, which had closed its doors. Now nearly 20 years later, they have two locations in Rapid City and wholesale their bagels and cream cheese to seven states, including 60 locations in South Dakota.
“I traded Hairspray for Hairnets! It might not seem as glamorous as broadcasting, but the daily deadlines and challenges of running a small business are no less exciting!”
