Community

DeLon Mork This Is Retail Photo Retail means community.

DeLon Mork of Madison, South Dakota demonstrates how vital retailers are to their communities, not only in terms of providing jobs, but also the many ways they give back.

Since Dairy Queen started the annual Miracle Treat Day to raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network through the sales of Blizzards, DeLon and his employees have consistently sold more Blizzards than any other Dairy Queen. We're not just talking South Dakota here; on that day every year, they outsell every Dairy Queen in NORTH AMERICA! Miracle Treat Day has turned into a huge community event for DeLon, his employees, and his entire community.

"I am most proud of the relationships that I have established with customers over the years. Some of them come into the store multiple times a week. Many of them started as customers and now are truly my friends."
